BBC on Taiwan

I was sifting through a BBC article on Condi Rice's visit to China to warn China that they should talk with Chen Shui-bian instead of the Chinese Nationalist Party, and came across a website that the Beeb has prepared called Taiwan Flashpoint, which provides information on China's attempt to annex The Beautiful Island and the resulting political tensions (the descriptions turn out to be short and shallow). BBC also offers a Taiwan timeline that runs from 2000-2005. Interestingly enough, the blurbs on the side profile Chiang Kai-Shek's wife, and Lien Chan, but not Chen Shui-bian, although he has been the dominant political figure of that era.

Those of you listing Taiwan resources might want to list this one for completeness.
