Da Bloom has new book out

Dan Bloom announces that his third Chinese-language book is out. He discusses the writing of it here.
For his third book in a popular nightmarket series that began with Chinese-language books from Eurasian Press and Tongyo Culture Books, Chiayi-based author Dan Bloom has recently self-published 流浪到嘉義 with a local printer in Chiayi, bypassing the usual Taipei publishing route and packaging and marketing the book himself.

The book was printed in a first edition of 1,000 copies and includes media coverage from the Chinese-language press here in Taiwan, in addition to several backlist articles Bloom published previously in English, French and Japanese publications.

The book also includes several of the original Sunday newspaper columns Bloom wrote for the Liberty Times in 1999 and 2000, translated into Chinese by Wang Yu-tai and Monica Tzou. Articles about Taiwan's entry into the WHO and WTO, as well as stories about the betel nut industry have been reprinted here in English and French.
